Entry #11: The Final Relfection

Have you ever thought that you would ever be making a blog? I sure didn't, until I took English 102. You may think that it's stupid or useless but in reality it's actually kind of fun. I really enjoyed writing these blogs. Blogging can be used as a personal journal or a business journal. It's a great way to state one's opinion about any topic.
Creating a blog is almost like Facebook. Except your blogs are your status updates. Except everyone's blogs are not all about drama. You can read about other people's life stories. Do It Yourself recipes and holiday decorations. fashion tips. Political statements and opinions. While blogging it has also helped me improve on my writing. Yeah it may only be a couple paragraphs but it's better than writing nothing at all on a daily basis.

Although, I'd say that there were a few challenges to blogging. My first challenge was trying to figure out how to even start my first blog. Was it too childish? Is it too boring? Are the paragraphs too long? Once you have gotten over that obstacle the rest of your blogs will be easier to write. Sometimes I like to get off topic then what I was originally talking about. When writing a blog you have to make sure that your tone is consistent, you have a targeted audience and that your blog has structure.

But all in all, I think that blogging as an assignment for class was an excellent idea. It's a way to get to know other people as well without physically talking to them. In a less creepy and awkward way possible. It was a lot of fun in my experience and I really enjoyed. I could see myself creating a daily personal blog that goes along with my experience while attending AZ School of Massage Therapy. Maybe there would be a student who is interested in attending in the future and they stumble upon my blog, it'll be like their experiencing it from my point of view.
